This is an exciting and dynamic role that will help shape and accelerate AI across BMO InvestorLine. The successful candidate will identify and prioritize high-value AI opportunities, develop executive-ready strategies and business cases, support the delivery of AI solutions, and ensure measurable business value is realized after launch. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, AI expertise, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Strategy & Value Creation

• Help define and evolve InvestorLine's AI strategy and roadmap, aligned to business objectives
• Maintain an AI portfolio backlog that sequences use cases based on client and business value, strategic alignment, feasibility, risk, and dependencies
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business, technology, and partner teams to shape AI opportunities
• Develop quantitative business cases, value realization models, and funding recommendations
• Monitor and communicate business outcomes, KPIs, and value realization throughout the lifecycle of AI initiatives
• Stay current on emerging AI capabilities, market trends, and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions
• Develop executive-facing presentations, strategy decks, briefing materials, and recommendations for senior leadership
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear business narratives and actionable insights
• Build alignment across stakeholders and support executive decision-making on AI investments and priorities

AI Product Management

• Lead product discovery by translating client, employee, market, and competitive insights into clearly defined problems, product requirements, and success metrics
• Support product prototypes, pilots, launch readiness, onboarding, and go/no-go decisions to validate product quality, safety, usability, and value before scaling
• Establish post-launch feedback, and continuous-improvement processes to monitor adoption  and business outcomes and inform on product enhancements
• Support vendor evaluations, solution assessments, and implementation planning where required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant STEM field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management consulting, internal consulting or strategy
• Experience in transformation or AI from the technology or financial services industries highly preferred
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, emerging trends, and practical enterprise applications
• Demonstrated experience building business cases, preparing strategic presentations, evaluating investments, and measuring business value
• Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to work across business, technology, and governance functions to drive outcomes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Self-starter with a strong bias for action, demonstrated initiative, and a proven ability to take ownership and independently drive work from concept through execution

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
