Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and assist employees, visitors, and patients with professionalism and care. You will use clear communication and customer service skills while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

Security Experience

• Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage security protocols, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment.

Access Control/Badge Experience

• Candidates must possess experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access credentials for personnel and visitors.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet

• Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage electronic communications, and utilize digital tools effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related protocols within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate observations, concerns, and security-related incidents promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
