Logistics Coordinator

Summary of Position

 

The Logistics Coordinator is the point person for coordinating all facets of outbound domestic freight shipments and transfers between multiple 3PL warehouses.  This is a great opportunity for a person who wants to work in a small company environment with a team approach to achieving goals.

 

Reports To: Sr. Manager of Logistics

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate outbound freight shipments (TMS, ERP, WMS)
  • Enter shipping confirmations daily and communicate changes in orders/pickups to appropriate Sales Reps and Warehouses
  • Develop and maintain relationships with TMS providers and 3PL warehouse
  • Coordinate warehouse-to-warehouse transfers and domestic supplier pickups
  • Manage customer returns by coordinating with Sales and Warehouse
  • Perform analysis and make recommendations to improve service levels and reduce costs
  • Accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested
  • Support, demonstrate and promote the philosophy and company mission of Eco-Products

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Detail oriented with a willingness to adapt and be flexible in a growing company
  • Proficient analytical skills and Excel experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve issues between internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks 
  • Able to work in an autonomous environment while meeting multiple cut-off times      each day
  • Computer skills with the ability to adapt to various TMS, ERP, WMS systems
  • 1-2 years of experience (preferred) in Logistics role
