Are you ready to lead manufacturing operations that power critical electrical infrastructure around the world? Hitachi Energy is looking for a dynamic Production Manager to oversee our Breakers & Modules manufacturing operations. In this leadership role, you will drive production performance, champion operational excellence, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead end-to-end production operations for Breakers & Modules, from material intake through final shipment.
• Develop and execute production schedules that achieve customer commitments and business objectives.
• Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and waste reduction initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and manufacturing teams to achieve high performance.
• Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve operational results.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve processes.
• Identify and implement new technologies, automation solutions, and best practices to enhance operational performance.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
• Experience in electrical components, circuit breakers, modular systems, or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience using ERP, MRP, or other production planning systems.
• Proven leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.
