Job Description

As a Security Officer Full - Time 1st in Clayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will support a secure environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support compliance with site requirements by communicating access procedures, directing visitors and vendors, and reporting unusual activity, damaged access equipment, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
