Personal Touch Food Service is hiring for a cashier/prep role at Lewiston-Porter Central Schools!
Rate of Pay: 17.00
Hours of Work / Schedule: HS 8am-1:00 pm Mon-Fri and HS 9am-1:00 pm Mon-Fri.

We are seeking a friendly and organized Cashier/Prep person to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a positive school environment while supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process student and staff transactions accurately at the school cafeteria or snack bar
- Handle cash with integrity and attention to detail
- Prepare food items, beverages, or supplies as needed, following safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area and cashier station
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
- Follow all safety protocols and school policies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cashiering, food prep, or customer service preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register systems
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work during school hours, including mornings and afternoons
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma/GED required
- Customer Service Skills necessary
- Must possess basic math skills, ability to calculate production and recipes as required for guest counts.
- Must be able to work at a moderate to fast pace.
Additional Duties
- Assume other related duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager and Cook Manager.
