This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program.
Successful candidate will join the Guidance Systems Integration (GSI) team supporting day to day operation of the Sentinel GO program operating unit. This role requires a pro-active individual willing to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment. A good team focus and willingness to multi-task is important in this role.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Provides horizontal integration across OU and related functions.
- Provides general management of budget/forecast and earned value management across multiple teams and funding sources.
- Act as the assignment manager for project managers within the GO operating unit.
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and management, including staffing, NCTA, Capital, etc.
- Serves as the GSI focal point for program change tracking by consolidating incoming change requests, routing to product leads for impact analysis, and communicating required actions and due dates to drive closure.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports, including hardware and lab status.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Responsible for daily operations of a team (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, and day to day workflow).
- Responsibilities include: cost, schedule, and technical performance of a specific unit or work package on a large system development-type contract or broad responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a delivery order or small technical services-type contract.
- Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and deliver high level briefings to Program Leadership and/or customer.
- Navigate ambiguity and develop a systemic approach and strategy to address and solve problems.
- Build relationships and effectively listen and communicate to influence and ensure accountability across a network of stakeholders.
- Preparing charts, briefings and metrics as needed to provide the Program with visualization material necessary to understand the health of the organization.
- Acting with a sense of urgency and accountability; taking ownership of tasks and strategic direction.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This position may offer relocation assistance.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant work experience; Masters degree with 3 years of relevant work experience; an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience in Capital/NCTA management, facilities strategies, staffing strategy and resource allocation
These Qualifications Will Be Nice To Have:
- Current and active Top Secret clearance
- Minimum of one (1) year of direct people management experience, including responsibility for employee performance, coaching, and development.
- Experience working in a dynamic work environment
- Experience working with executive leadership combined with strong collaboration and team building skills.
- Experience with prioritizing multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously
- Experience working in aerospace systems; basic understanding of missile systems, Guidance Navigation & Control (GN&C), etc.
- At least 1 year of experience managing engineering laboratory environments
- Knowledge of Corporate and DS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving capabilities, enabling swift, data driven recommendations from both quantitative and qualitative sources.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with senior leadership across Northrop Grumman and key customer/supplier organizations, building strong strategic relationships.
- Exposure to program/project management processes and practices, including cross functional coordination, dependency management, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication
