Data Integration Specialist

You will investigate unfamiliar source environments, understand their constraints and choose the most practical way to extract and prepare data. You will translate agreed source-to-target mappings into technical logic, build reusable cleansing and transformation processes, and automate validation, reconciliation, logging and exception handling.

Your work will help reduce manual data preparation, support an important enterprise systems rollout, and make it easier to bring new businesses and source environments into a common operating model. You will collaborate with master-data and BI specialists while owning the technical acquisition, transformation and integration path.

Profile for success

• Practical experience building data extraction, transformation, integration, migration or automation solutions.
• Strong SQL and working Python capability for data processing or automation.
• Experience working with APIs, databases and file-based data, including environments that differ in maturity and support.
• Evidence of implementing data mapping, validation, reconciliation, cleansing, standardisation or error-handling controls.
• The judgement to investigate an unfamiliar system, choose an appropriate approach and know when to collaborate or escalate.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• A relevant degree or technical education is preferred, but practical capability and relevant experience are important.
