Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Validation in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet tools, you will communicate clearly, document activity, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly commercial property environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
