Description
The role provides operational and risk management support across key disclosure processes, including prospectuses, UCITS KIIDs, PRIIPs KIDs, SFDR, SDR disclosures and related fund documentation. The Disclosure Analyst helps maintain trackers, control records, document versions, review schedules and evidence packs, supporting the team’s ability to deliver high-quality regulatory disclosure outcomes in a controlled and audit-ready manner.
Core Responsibilities
- Supports disclosure production, review and maintenance activities across key regulatory and fund disclosure documents, including prospectuses, UCITS KIIDs, PRIIPs KIDs, SFDR disclosures and related fund documentation. Helps ensure assigned activities are completed accurately, consistently and within required timelines.
- Performs first-line quality control and editorial review of disclosure materials, checking for consistency, completeness, formatting, version control, plain-English clarity and alignment with agreed source materials. Escalates technical, regulatory or judgment-based points to the Senior Disclosure Specialist as needed.
- Maintains disclosure trackers, action logs, review schedules, evidence records and document repositories to support effective governance, auditability and timely delivery across disclosure processes.
- Supports the Senior Disclosure Specialist with disclosure updates (including the implementation of new disclosures) arising from fund events, prospectus changes, regulatory developments or business-driven changes, helping to identify impacted documents, gather inputs, coordinate review steps and document outcomes.
- Coordinates with internal business partners including Legal, Compliance, Product, Risk, Distribution, Finance and other Regulatory Operations teams to obtain inputs, resolve routine queries and support completion of disclosure review cycles.
- Supports governance and approval processes by preparing meeting inputs, maintaining approval records, tracking outstanding actions and ensuring final disclosure materials are appropriately reviewed before publication or filing.
- Builds foundational knowledge of applicable disclosure requirements, internal procedures, fund documentation and operating controls, with a focus on understanding how disclosure changes flow through the broader regulatory operations ecosystem.
- Identifies and escalates risks, issues, delays or control gaps that may affect disclosure quality, timeliness or completeness. Contributes to lessons learned and process improvement activities that enable repeatable, controlled and scalable disclosure delivery.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Relevant experience in asset management, financial services, regulatory operations, legal, compliance, fund administration, fund documentation or disclosure production.
- Familiarity with UCITS funds, fund documentation, product disclosure or regulatory filing processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review technical documents accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines and stakeholder inputs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to raise issues clearly and work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to follow procedures, maintain accurate records and operate within a strong risk and control environment.
- Developing analytical skills and willingness to build regulatory, product and disclosure expertise.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and comfort working with document repositories, trackers and workflow tools.
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated willingness to contribute to the success of the team and Vanguard.
