Facilities and Fleet Technician — Wichita, KS
Full Time (36+ hours) | $16–$18/hour (based on experience) | +$5/hour for after-hours emergency repairs

Pyxis helps youth — many in foster care — facing mental and behavioral health challenges. We're looking for a hands-on, dependable Facilities and Fleet Technician to keep our program homes and company vehicles safe, functional, and running smoothly.

What you'll do:

• Handle general property repairs — plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, basic carpentry, and flooring
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on homes and vehicles
• Complete oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other routine vehicle service
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using code readers and diagnostic tools
• Document work orders, repairs, and service records
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent facility or fleet needs

What we're looking for:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass all background checks
• General maintenance and basic automotive knowledge
• Comfortable with hand/power tools and basic tech (smartphone, computer)
• Reliable, coachable, and willing to ask questions and learn
• Bonus: carpentry, HVAC, ASE certification, or experience working with youth populations
