Front Door Person... Attendant, ID Checker & Cover Charge Taker? Call it what you want, we need you!

Every Friday and Saturday we can have over a thousand or more customers come through the door, all of them must have their identification checked and that's where you come in!

This part-time front-of-house position typically works at our bar every Friday and Saturday from 6:30 pm - 2:30 am.

As a Front Door Host / Hostess, you are an important team member for us. You are the first-person customers see when they enter our doors, but you are also the last person to bid them farewell when they are leaving. With your upbeat and friendly attitude, you facilitate a great environment and set the tone for each guest's experience. With great attention to detail, you check IDs upon arrival to the bar and accurately and efficiently handle all cash and credit card transactions. You feel good about fulfilling your customer service responsibilities and creating a fun environment to keep our customers coming back!

As the first point of contact with our amazing customers coming through the door our Hosts are very important and are paid $15-$16 an hour with the opportunity to make tips! Sometimes up to $50 a night or more!

Job Description:

• Check all guests ID, scan them in and take payment for the cover charge
• Make sure to check guest bags or have our security team assist
• Double check all guest entering and re-entering to make sure they have entered correctly
• Stamp all customer hands upon entry
• Tidy up space, secure till, and help out cleaning at the end of the night
• Wear a Walkie Talkie to communicate with the team

Additional Requirements

• Must have a Salt Lake County Food Handler's Permit, or secure one in 14 days of hire
• Must maintain Utah Sips and Tips Certification
• Must be 21 years-of-age or older
• Must be available to work holidays
• Must be available Friday and Saturday evenings
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
