Description
Key Responsibilities
• Origination: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and projects within the Philippines.
• Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research, policy/regulatory analysis and project feasibility studies.
• Project Support: Lead or support project structuring, feasibility assessment, planning, permitting, financial modelling, and documentation processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, landowners, local communities, and potential partners.
• Coordination and Negotiation: Coordinate and/or negotiate with contractors, landowners, partners, and advisors.
• Reporting: Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and internal reports for management.
• Administration: Manage project-related documentation, meeting coordination, and project monitoring.
Capability/ Experience Required (Must)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project development within the energy sector (experience in Renewable Energy is preferred).
• Graduate of electrical, mechanical, or related engineering degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tagalog.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Capability/ Experience Required (Plus)
• Preferred Expertise: Familiarity with one or more of the following:
- Energy yield assessment for both solar and wind projects
- BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) integration
- Grid connection matters
- Land acquisition and conversion
- (Financial modeling)
