Student Worker - Ambulatory Services - Days

Virginia Commonwealth University Health System is seeking to inspire students to learn more about careers at VCUHS to achieve their full potential personally and professionally during their school year.

Under direct department supervision, a Student Worker will assist with various assigned duties/projects to include clerical and administrative assignments (filing, data entry, processing of work orders, analyzing data, scanning, etc.), special projects, or other job related duties as assigned.

Experience PREFERRED:
Demonstrated experience working in a healthcare environment and commitment to excellence.

Education/training REQUIRED:
Enrolled in High School, or currently enrolled in an accredited college program (includes Master’s program).
Strong customer service skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
Demonstrate courteous communication skills both orally and in writing.
Ability to utilize email programs such as Microsoft Outlook
Experience using Excel or MS Word

Compensation Rate: $15.30 Actual salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.
