What You'll Do
As a Van Driver, you'll play a key role in helping Residents stay active, engaged, and connected. Each trip is an opportunity to provide comfort, support, and peace of mind.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drive a van to transport Residents to scheduled destinations, including hospitals and doctors' offices.
- Assist Residents safely entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Escort Residents into appointments, ensure they are properly signed in, and provide medical office staff with your cell phone number for pick-up coordination.
- Use a hands-free cell phone to communicate with the Transportation Supervisor and medical offices.
- Fuel, clean, wash, and vacuum vehicles to maintain a safe, comfortable, and pleasant ride experience.
- Report vehicle concerns or maintenance needs to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Record vehicle mileage daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
We're seeking individuals who combine safe driving skills with a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Previous bus or passenger driving experience preferred
- Less than high school education, or up to 3-6 months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service
- Ability to remain calm, attentive, and professional in all situations
- Genuine desire to provide exceptional service and support to others

- Schedule varies based on business needs, with most hours available on weekends and evenings.
