About the role
We're seeking a Liability Claims Manager who does what they say they'll do, values every perspective, acts with clients in mind, and continuously looks for better ways to serve. You'll lead with integrity, develop talent, and drive meaningful change that delivers results.Core Responsibilities
• Claims Leadership: Oversee the entire lifecycle of liability claims — from initial notice to resolution — ensuring compliance with policy, law, and company standards.
• Team Development: Lead, develop, and mentor claims professionals, including performance management, succession planning, talent development, and career growth initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
• Operational Oversight: Set and enforce claim policies, manage reserves, and ensure efficient, accurate and good faith claims handling.
• Performance & Compliance: Monitor, analyze, and improve key performance metrics, driving efficiency, quality outcomes, and adherence to claims policies, procedures, and service expectations.
• Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of insurance policies, coverage analysis, and litigation processes to resolve complex, high-exposure claims
• Maintain Awareness of Industry Changes: Stay informed of legal, regulatory, and industry trends affecting liability claims and incorporate emerging developments into claims handling practices and team development efforts.
• Cross-Functional Partnerships: Partner effectively with Claims leaders and business stakeholders to drive alignment, strengthen communication, and promote collaboration in support of operational excellence and business results.

How does this role make an impact?
- Collaborates and coordinates to establish and achieve goals for assigned areas. Monitors and measures metrics to improve results, efficiencies and adherence to claims goals, policies and procedures. Assures consistency across claims operations for assigned areas. - Provides guidance and counsel to claims personnel with respect to the investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement of all liability claims. - Supervises the development of assigned staff, including succession planning and administering and monitoring employee development to align with corporate and divisional needs. - Manages the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas. Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster.Do you have what we're looking for?

Base Pay Range:
$114,000-$156,750The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
