The role of European Biofuel Marketer will support the Biofuel Commercial Leads in understanding and translating the Lights and Distillate Bio bench views and positions into country-level optimization strategies to maximise integrated margin capture.
This key role will act at the interface between London and the regional offices to ensure the efficient, compliant and valuable optimisation of bio-compliance across the whole value chain. The role will also be responsible for bringing accountability to decision making via integrated performance conversations, will challenging existing operating models and support in the development of novel compliance strategies to capture incremental value
Integrate the trading benches’ commercial view into local compliance strategies, under the leadership of the European Commercial Lead Biofuels. Support the setting of optimisation boundaries and coordinate commercial trade-off conversations (e.g. between margin and cash)
Drive margin capture within bio-optimisation and build strong links with regional Ground Fuel Marketers (GFMs) and Regional Commercial Leads (RCLs) to ensure this always maximises integrated margin
Act as a key interface for bio input to integrated margin discussions, maintaining relationships with Supply, B2B, Trading and Refining (including CoPro). Support the local European Commercial Lead Biofuels to optimise local vs. international compliance options to support margin and strategy optimisation
Manage annual planning conversations across the bio-optimisation businesses, helping shape and define our complex commercial delivery strategy. Lead conversations around commercial setup between businesses and within the new Silver Stone Operating Model
Interface with the MI&D team as we shape our longer term strategy per country and asset
Support in-year integrated margin performance discussions and ensure lessons learnt are taken back into the business
Seek out and drive projects to capture value from novel compliance options. Support the integration of in-flight projects across ST&S into the bio-compliance optimisation strategy (including HVO100, RFNBO generation etc.)
Maintain a link with the Regulation and Reporting team, coordinating commercial input into live topics
