We are seeking a dedicated and culturally grounded Clinical Manager to lead our Specialty Services Behavioral Health teams.  This position oversees our Behavioral Health Consultants, Intake Team, and Crisis Mobile Team, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care within the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community.

  • Salary Range: $91,772.00 - $128,483.00 (Annually)

Who are we? 

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is a sovereign tribe located in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Bounded by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, and Fountain Hills, the Community serves over 9,000 tribal members, and all people conduct business over approximately 96 square miles of residential, agricultural, and commercial lands, as a full-service government entity. 

What are we seeking?

The ideal candidate brings strong clinical and supervisory experience, along with a deep understanding of SRPMIC including familiarity with cultural traditions, values, and community needs. This role ensures clinical excellence, staff development, operational efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards while fostering strong partnerships with internal teams, community stakeholders, and tribal organizations.

What does the job look like?

  • Provide daily supervision, coaching, and performance management for crisis response teams, BHCs in primary care, and intake staff.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical practice, documentation quality, and compliance across all assigned service lines.
  • Oversee program operations, scheduling, workflows, service delivery models, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, primary care teams, and community partners to support integrated behavioral health care.
  • Lead initiatives to improve access, streamline crisis response processes, and enhance care coordination.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, competency development, and training for clinical staff.
  • Utilize data and metrics to guide program improvements and ensure service effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain culturally respectful relationships with tribal partners and community members.

What do you need?

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field (required).
  • Independent Arizona licensure required: LPC, LCSW, LMFT.
  • Experience managing crisis response teams, mobile services, or similar emergency behavioral health programs.
  • Experience providing or managing integrated behavioral health services within a primary care or medical setting.
  • Knowledge of intake/access processes and behavioral health triage.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
