What you’ll do
- Team Leadership: Manage the entire maintenance team, overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient planning, repairs, and maintenance activities. Success means a well-coordinated team delivering high-quality maintenance with minimal downtime.
- Maintenance Management: Lead preventive maintenance programs, manage equipment schedules, and ensure critical spares availability to maintain operational excellence. Daily tasks include monitoring maintenance workflows and troubleshooting issues.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHACT, SANS 10142, and company safety standards. Travel may be required occasionally to support other site operations or training.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other departments to address maintenance needs, maintain safe working conditions, and provide operational support including overtime when necessary.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
- Qualified Artisan – Electrician or Millwright
- 5 - 7 years of relevant foundry experience
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Sound SHE knowledge and experience
- HT (High Tension) Electrical experience and training
- Valid Driver’s License
Nice-to-have(s):
- Supervisor Training/Qualification
