Chevron Eurasia is looking for an experienced professional with broad knowledge and experience in local and international taxation, accounting and finance with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis and a high degree of commercial awareness, strategic thinking, personnel management, soft influencing, multi-tasking and diplomacy skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Leads the Eurasia Finance and Tax function, providing strategic oversight of accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial operations across Kazakhstan, Russia, and related international locations.

• Accountable for financial close and reporting processes, compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements, internal controls, and the development of a high-performing finance organization.

• Serves as the senior tax advisor to Eurasia leadership, partnering with Corporate Tax and business stakeholders to manage tax risks, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize tax positions, oversee audits and government engagements, and support major commercial negotiations and business development activities.

• Represents Chevron’s interests in non-operated joint ventures and industry advocacy forums, influencing tax and fiscal policies that impact the business.

• Oversees treasury, payroll, employee services, accounts payable/receivable, field accounting, and shared services interfaces, ensuring sound financial governance, effective cash and risk management, and alignment with Chevron’s business objectives across the Eurasia region.
