This role requires deep expertise in automotive retouching, strong technical execution, and collaboration with creative, production, and post-production teams.

The Senior Automotive Retoucher plays a key role in maintaining visual excellence, brand consistency, and production efficiency across digital and print deliverables. Responsibilities

  • Execute high-end automotive retouching for photography and CGI-based imagery.
  • Preserve realism and accuracy in vehicle surfaces, paint, reflections, lighting, materials, shadows, and highlights.
  • Perform advanced compositing, masking, cleanup, and enhancement of automotive exteriors and interiors.
  • Apply the same high standards of craftsmanship to other image categories, including lifestyle, product, and environmental imagery, as required by business needs.
  • Ensure visual consistency across multiple angles, trims, markets, and asset versions.
  • Prepare and deliver final assets for print, digital, web, social, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Conduct detailed quality checks to ensure all assets meet client expectations and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain accuracy in color, contrast, detail, and file structure across deliverables.
  • Keep Photoshop files clean, organized, and aligned with production best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with CGI artists, designers, producers, and creative leads.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining exceptional craft standards.
  • Communicate clearly with US-based teams regarding timelines, expectations, and revisions.
  • Mentor and support mid-level retouchers through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist Lead Retouchers in driving workflow improvements and maintaining quality consistency.
  • Contribute to the development of retouching standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques, including the responsible use of AI-assisted solutions that improve efficiency without compromising quality.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional retouching experience, with a strong focus on automotive imagery.
  • Proven experience working with international or US-based clients.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-end automotive retouching and photorealistic image creation.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to remain calm and reliable under pressure, particularly during high-volume production periods.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including non-destructive workflows.
  • Experience with Adobe Bridge or similar asset management tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of masking, compositing, color correction, image enhancement, and file preparation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of RGB and CMYK workflows, color management, and pre-press standards.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with automotive CGI assets.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted retouching tools used in production environments.
