Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming, secure environment while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with facility representatives, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
