KS1053 - Live-in or Live-out Newborn Care Specialist - Six Months - Palo Alto, CA

Overview

A family of soon-to-be four living in Palo Alto is seeking to put together a childcare team for their family.  They are seeking a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) for their upcoming arrival due at the end of November.   The family is seeking a six-month contract.  Please apply only if you are available to stay through the six months.  There is flexibility for the role to be 20/7 or for just nights, depending on the NCS’s preference.  The position would start on November 15th, at the latest.  The family is also seeking a senior lead developmental nanny/educator and a career nanny.  (The other two roles are listed separately as KS1051 and KS1052; if interested, please apply!). The family will provide a private bedroom for the NCS.

Responsibilities

• Must have solid prior NCS experience
• Calm and comfortable knowing when to help the parents and when to step back
• First-time parents seeking the knowledge and advice of the NCS while also letting them be the parents
• Open to 20/7 coverage or overnights only
• Live-in accommodations will be provided if needed

 

Requirements

• Must be legal to work in the US
• Prior NCS experience
• Available to work for six months from November through May.
• Top-tier with strong certifications
• Successful sleep training experience is required
• CPR and NCS certifications required
• Prior UHNW home experience required

Salary and Benefits

The family is open on daily rate.  This role can be either 20/7 or overnights only for six month contract.
