Requirements

The Banquet Server delivers professional service for events, meetings, and banquets. This role ensures guests receive timely, attentive, and polished service in accordance with Palm House standards. 

Qualifications:

• Previous banquet, catering, or high-volume serving experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be available full-time, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and as-needed for events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining proper service etiquette.
• Assist with clearing tables, resetting, and breakdown of events.
• Communicate guest needs and special requests to event staff and management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Other duties as assigned  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift trays or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent movement across event spaces, including stairs and tight areas.

Work Environment:

Variable event spaces with high attention to detail, presentation, and guest satisfaction. 

Grooming Standards:

Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uniform.
