We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials professional who can independently engage with clients, assess business needs, configure and support solutions, and deliver high-quality service throughout the client lifecycle. Candidates with strong PeopleSoft Financials experience will also be considered, particularly those with General Ledger and broader financials support expertise.
Required Experience (5-8 years)
• Experience configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, with primary expertise in General Ledger (GL).
• Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP in a managed services, post-production support, enhancement, or optimization environment.
• Experience with the full Oracle Cloud implementation and support lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, stabilization, and ongoing support.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud General Ledger functionality, including chart of accounts, ledger configuration, accounting calendars, currency management, journal processing, allocations, consolidations, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience troubleshooting functional issues, analyzing root causes, documenting resolutions, and managing client support requests.
• Ability to gather, document, and translate client business requirements into practical Oracle Cloud configuration solutions.
• Experience working across Oracle Cloud Financials modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Billing, Projects, and Budgetary Control is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting processes, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial controls.
• Excellent business analysis, client-facing, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate status clearly, and deliver a high level of service in a client support environment.
• Ability to provide functional leadership and recommendations that improve client operational efficiency and financial processes.
PeopleSoft Consideration
• Candidates with significant PeopleSoft Financials experience will be considered.
• Relevant PeopleSoft experience includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Management, Commitment Control, Projects, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials in a managed services or application support environment is highly desirable.
• Candidates with PeopleSoft experience who are interested in expanding or transitioning into Oracle Cloud Financials are encouraged to apply.
Desired Skills
• Public sector or governmental accounting experience.
• Oracle Cloud Financials certification, particularly in General Ledger.
• PeopleSoft Financials certification or demonstrated advanced PeopleSoft GL expertise.
• Experience creating financial reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, SQL, or related reporting tools.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly release testing, impact analysis, and client communications.
• Prior consulting experience supporting multiple clients or managing a portfolio of support requests.
