This is a high-impact technical role. We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our Cloud Platform initiatives. You will operate at the intersection of research, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering, pioneering AI solutions to transform the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Your primary mission is to build intelligent tooling, copilots, and automation that boost developer velocity, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and scale platform capabilities.

This is a hands-on execution and research-driven role. You are responsible for designing, benchmarking, and deploying GenAI-driven solutions directly into internal developer platforms and infrastructure workflows.

What To Expect In This Role (Responsibilities)

• AI for Developer Acceleration: Build AI-powered tools, internal assistants, and copilots across each stage of the SDLC (code generation, code reviews, testing, documentation, and IaC generation) to reduce cognitive load and eliminate manual steps.

• Research & Prototyping: Investigate, benchmark, and deploy GenAI solutions (e.g., LLMs, RAG pipelines, GitHub Copilot) to improve delivery pipelines, reduce lead time, and enhance system reliability.

• Platform & Delivery Innovation: Prototype AI-driven platform features such as cost-aware autoscaling, predictive incident resolution, and automated root cause analysis within DevOps environments.

• Internal Developer Platform (IDP): Collaborate closely with Platform, SRE, and DevOps teams to integrate intelligent automation into the core engineering platform.

• Cross-Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Partner with engineering leadership to identify operational friction, test novel AI approaches, and scale learnings through workshops and internal demos.

Requirements

• Technical & Infrastructure Foundation: Senior-level proficiency with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud environments (AWS or GCP), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Development Skills: Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and scripting languages (Bash or Go) to build across AI models, internal tooling, and cloud infrastructure codebases.

• AI/ML Proficiency: Practical experience implementing Large Language Models (LLMs) and code-generation tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, StarCoder, GPT family) into real-world software workflows.

• SDLC & DevOps Mastery: Deep understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle (planning, testing, releasing, monitoring) and modern CI/CD automation systems.

• Mindset & Communication: Research-driven, curious approach to evaluating new technologies, combined with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex AI solutions to technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, prompt engineering, and custom model fine-tuning.

• Experience building, scaling, or contributing to Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).

• Published research, open-source contributions, or projects involving AI applied to software quality, deployment safety, or observability.
