Productivity Advisor, Ambulatory Operations

Baystate Health is seeking a Productivity Advisor to join their Ambulatory Operations team.  Reporting directly to the Chief Physician Executive and President of Baystate Medical Practices the Productivity Advisor will work closely the CPE, Baystate Medical Practice leaders, CSO leadership, finance and HR leaders to support and lead transformational workstreams, ensuring alignment with Baystate Health’s objectives. Productivity Advisor will lead the Productivity implementation to build, develop, educate and fully implement the BMP Ambulatory Practice productivity plan. Process will ensure the PLC, ambulatory leadership and the CSO leadership, finance and HR operational leaders and staff are full participants in the development of staffing plans, understand the need for predictive staffing to ensure adequate resources are available to meet the needs of the practice and to ensure service needs are met.  

Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the execution of performance improvement projects, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, measurements, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to identify process improvements, drive operational efficiencies, and enhance patient/provider and staff experience.
  • Monitor and track program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate counter measures and strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of key milestones.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and change management, promoting the adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Utilize standard reports and dashboards to review Operations data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilizes statistical analysis and data visualization to conclude the efficacy of improvement projects.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and reports to appropriate BMP and BH committees and department heads for action planning.

Qualifications [Preferred qualification]

  • RN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • 5-10 years of leadership experience successfully leading and delivering complex projects and meeting key deliverables, preferably on large-scale transformation initiatives.

  • Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel  

Schedule Details

  • Full Time- Monday -Friday
  • Location - Baystate Administrative Offices – 280 Chestnut St. Springfield, MA
  • Must be willing to travel to physician practices as needed

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum

$130,977.00 - $150,550.00 - $178,048.00
