Job Description:

Education Qualifications:

Is a member of the non-invasive Cardiovascular team. Plans, organizes and implements a variety of cardiac stress testing protocols and provides ambulatory ECG monitoring services to patients. Must interact effectively with patients, families, and all other members of the health care team. Provides care for adult patients with cardio respiratory illness.

Educational Requirements:

Applicable to St. Mary's Medical Center - Duluth:

• Completed course work in a medically related field such as nursing assistant, medical assistant, nursing, EMT, paramedic, respiratory care, or rhythm interpretation.

St. Mary's Medical Center - Duluth:

• Monitor Tech with greater than 2 years of experience
• Current Cardiology Technician with greater than 4 years of experience
• Associates Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• Current certification (or within one month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
