Job Description
- Provide field service support for ECI systems installed at Samsung Electronics fabrication facilities, including installation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Serve as the primary technical interface between KLA and Samsung customers, ensuring high equipment availability and customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and process-related issues to maximize tool performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate closely with customers, KLA product support teams, and regional engineering organizations to address technical escalations and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver technical training and application support to customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices.
- Support customer ramp activities, new tool deployments, and expanding installed base requirements across Samsung sites.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and compliance with customer and KLA safety standards.
- This position may support customer sites located in Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, and Cheonan, depending on business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment, analytical instrumentation, field service engineering, or technical customer support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in hardware, electrical, mechanical, or analytical systems.
- Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with both customers and internal global support teams.
- Willingness to travel and provide on-site support at customer facilities as required.
- Semiconductor process knowledge and analytical equipment experience are highly preferred.
