The Imaging Center at Wolf River is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Germantown, TN. This is a part-time weekend opportunity offering consistent Saturday and Sunday hours with the potential to pick up additional shifts.
Position Details
- Position Status: Part-Time
- Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, approximately 8–10 hours per day
- Location: 7600 Wolf River Boulevard, Suite 100, Germantown, TN 38138
- Setting: Outpatient Imaging
- No On-Call
About the Opportunity
The ideal candidate will be an experienced CT Technologist who is comfortable working independently in an outpatient environment. This position will primarily perform CT examinations while also providing support to the MRI department as needed.
Candidates must be comfortable starting IVs and managing their workflow independently. There may also be opportunities to pick up additional hours based on center needs and availability.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the CT Technologist performs computed tomography procedures and related imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
The CT Technologist ensures all services are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established clinical protocols and regulatory requirements while providing an excellent patient experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Review and verify patient history, physician orders, and requested procedures.
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established CT protocols.
- Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and others.
- Perform venipuncture, establish and maintain IV access, and administer contrast or medications as permitted by applicable regulations and center protocols.
- Perform point-of-care creatinine testing in accordance with established CT protocols.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and proper patient identification.
- Assist with interventional CT procedures and maintain appropriate aseptic technique when required.
- Manipulate and reconstruct digital imaging data as needed for interpretation and archival storage.
- Provide clear education and instructions to patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Support the MRI department and other imaging areas as needed.
- Maintain a patient-focused approach and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and center initiatives as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- Up to 5 years experience as a CT Technologist, MRI experience a plus
EDUCATION:
- Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. CT advanced registration through ARRT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require CT advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Skill in operation of CT equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
