CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY
Chicagoland Speedway is a 1.5-mile oval located in Joliet, Illinois, approximately 30 miles south of downtown Chicago on Old Historic Route 66. On July 3-5, 2026, NASCAR will make its much-anticipated return to Chicagoland Speedway for three days of racing action.
NASCAR is seeking energetic, self-motivated individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the motorsports industry. This position will support the Chicagoland Speedway Marketing department through on-site event activations and grassroots initiatives. Marketing Seasonal Representatives (Street Team) will credibly and responsibly represent themselves as the face of Chicagoland Speedway to current and prospective fans by assisting in community events and race day responsibilities. This is a temporary seasonal position, and hours will be dependent on the appearance schedule.
Duties:
- In conjunction with the Marketing and Sales team, manage the logistics and operations of all event functions, including layout, activation set up and breakdown with collateral, prize management, prospecting, data management, and impact.
- Enthusiastically interact with and educate the public on Chicagoland Speedway history, information, and ticket opportunities at community events.
- Manage and maintain the show car, pace car, simulator & trophy program with the marketing team, planning the appearance schedule, coordinating event logistics, developing a prospect conversion plan, maintaining relationships with event contacts, and delivering positive experiences for fans and partners.
- Assist with planning as needed, including booking entertainment, securing décor, handling contracts & COIs, coordinating schedules, and managing any other needs for various entertainment. Maintain inventory logs of prizes, collateral, and support items needed.
- Support the Sales team as needed in prospecting, client outreach, and relationship building.
- Support the Marketing and Event Experience in the planning and execution of all race weekend programming, including first-time fan programs, engagement programs, or other duties as assigned.
- This is a customer facing position; Enthusiastically interact with and educate the public on Chicagoland Speedway history, information and ticket opportunities at all activations and events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Sports marketing or event management experience is a significant plus.
- Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner.
- Understanding of facility and general race knowledge.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
The compensation range for this position is:
