We are looking for curious, collaborative individuals who enjoy solving complex data problems, learning emerging technologies, and building solutions that deliver measurable business value.

  • Innovation Architecture: The Innovation Architecture Group works at the forefront of HPC, exploring, benchmarking, and integrating emerging technologies across compute, GPU infrastructure, high-speed networking, storage, hardware, and software. The team evaluates new products and future technology roadmaps from established industry leaders and innovative start-ups, testing their performance and efficiency in real-world lab environments. Through hands-on engineering, workload benchmarking, and research, the group identifies system bottlenecks, improves cluster utilization, and determines how new technologies can work together within a cohesive HPC architecture. The team also collaborates closely with customers, technology partners, and specialist architects to understand evolving workload requirements and translate the latest advancements into the high-performance computing platforms of the future.

  • Network Automation: Our Network Automation team is responsible for designing and building the software platform behind NMC2's global network infrastructure — the tools, services, and frameworks that enable automated, scalable, and self-service networking. As a new graduate, you will work closely with experienced engineers to grow your skills across both networking and software engineering while contributing to projects that improve how we provision, monitor, and operate networks at scale. You'll develop code, automation workflows, and CI/CD pipelines that directly impact how our research and compute environments run, working with technologies like Python, Kubernetes, Neo4j, and modern cloud-native tooling, and building best practices in Infrastructure-as-Code and observability along the way. We're also an AI-forward team — we use Claude to help build, manage, and evolve our platform, so you'll learn how to work alongside AI agents to ship faster. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are passionate about combining software engineering with networking and want to grow their expertise in automation within a large-scale, high-performance compute environment.

  • Security Engineering: Our Security Engineering team is responsible for securing the applications and services that power our company, ensuring strong application security across the engineering lifecycle. As a Graduate Security Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of AppSec and developer tooling; building and enhancing in-house security tools, integrating automated scanning into our pipelines and helping teams identify and remediate vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle. You’ll contribute to improving dependency security, strengthening runtime protections and shaping the secure architecture of internal applications. This role offers hands-on experience designing practical security solutions that enable engineers to move quickly while keeping our platform safe, giving you a unique opportunity to influence how modern application security is embedded at scale.

  • Customer Experience: Our CX team owns the relationship between NMC2 and the customers running large-scale GPU environments on our infrastructure. As a Graduate on the CX team, you'll sit at the intersection of deep technical infrastructure and customer outcomes, learning how HPC platforms behave in production and how to translate that into clear, credible communication for highly technical customers. You'll work alongside our technical account managers and solutions architects and collaborate closely with our customers, architects, product teams to solve real-world problems from some of the most high-demanding HPC users.

  • Service Management: Our Service Management team owns the operational disciplines and tooling that keep NMC²'s global HPC and cloud infrastructure running reliably — incident, change, and problem management, the service catalogue, and the platforms (Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Jira Assets) that every engineering team relies on. As a graduate, you'll take real responsibility from day one, working across process design, service automation, and our growing use of AI in service operations. Your projects will center on applying automation and AI to real operational problems; improving how services are delivered, monitored, and continually improved. Our technology stack includes Temporal, Go, Python, C#, and TypeScript, and our work supports GPU platforms spanning NVIDIA V100 through GB300. This team is an excellent fit for candidates who are excited about AI, HPC, automation, and solving complex infrastructure challenges at scale.

  • HPC Network Engineering: At NMC2, the HPC network and security engineering team builds and runs the network infrastructure behind large-scale HPC (high-performance computing) environments — the kind of fabric that connects thousands of GPUs so they can train AI models and run massive workloads without a hiccup. It's not routine helpdesk networking: engineers here work hands-on with InfiniBand and high-speed datacenter fabrics, build out brand-new GPU datacenters from the ground up (like the current GSP1 site in Spartanburg, SC), and treat the company's own WAN like a product — running it with the same rigor an ISP would, across POPs from Iceland to Japan. The team spans everything from network security and automation to a dedicated WAN group, so someone starting out gets exposure to real enterprise-scale architecture, vendor and hardware troubleshooting, and the operational discipline (change management, incident response, monitoring platforms) that separates production networking from a lab exercise — a strong environment for building deep technical chops fast.
