Schedule: Full-Time

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Confirm patient coverage via payer portals, determine pre-authorization necessity, and obtain required authorizations and referrals for provider-ordered services.

• Schedule appointments within mandated timeframes while ensuring referrals comply with network and payer requirements.

• Stay up to date on referral policies, managed care matrixes, and payer guidelines to accurately determine financial responsibility for services.

• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and third-party payers to resolve coverage barriers and communicate authorization denials.

• Log detailed updates in patient medical records regarding authorization statuses, coverage restrictions, action steps, and appointment details.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

• High school diploma OR equivalent required.

Work Experience:

• 2+ years prior authorization experience required.
