A progressive veterinary practice in Midlothian, VA is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of urgent medical conditions in companion animals
- Perform urgent care procedures and minor surgical interventions within scope of practice
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Educate clients on treatment options, preventive care, and follow‑up recommendations
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
- Uphold high standards of medical care, patient safety, and client service
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license in Virginia
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians encouraged to apply
