Medical Assistant - MA - Developmental Disabilities Health Center

Our service area covers 14 counties, from the front range to the Kansas border, with locations throughout Colorado Springs, Fountain, Divide, Limon, and Strasburg. Compensation (Pay): $21.43 to $31.07/per hour based on experience.

A $1000 sign on bonus will be paid in the following manner: $300 payout upon 30 days of employment, $300 payout upon 90 days of employment, and $400 payout upon one year of employment*.
*Current employees are not eligible for the sign on bonus.

Loyalty Bonus - $1200 upon 1 year of service and then a $300 payout for every additional 3 months worked. This applies to only FT employees. The amount will be prorated for PT employees.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Summary: Provides patient care under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider. Schedules appointments and performs the necessary intake functions for arriving patients, assists in questions, directs telephone calls, and other patient service duties. Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of provider, patient and assigned area. The Medical Assistant contributes to the success of the clinic by ensuring the quality of care provided to the patient. This position supports a primary care clinic serving patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

Education, Certification, Licensure:

Registered/Certified Medical Assistant & Current CPR (BLS) Certification required.

Work Experience:

Relevant healthcare experience preferred.
