Envision Unlimited is currently hiring part-time Housekeeping staff.


GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for overall cleanliness of the site to ensure that the site is a clean and welcoming environment.

Essential Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for keeping building and surrounding area neat, clean and free of observable safety hazards at all times.
  • Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing restrooms and program spaces.
  • Responsible for replenishing soap and paper supplies as needed.
  • Responsible for sweeping and vacuuming carpets and floors on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for emptying waste cans, recycle bins, and other trash receptacles on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for cleaning woodwork, walls, and windows using common household equipment and cleaning products.
  • Responsible for sweeping sidewalks and entrance areas in the front, back and sides of the building on a daily basis, weather permitting.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and supplies in order and requesting re-supply when needed.
  • Responsible for completing grounds keeping requests per supervisor and/or division director.
  • Other duties as assigned.

OVERALL JOB PERFORMANCE:

  • Attend all required agency training, as well as scheduled outside training when available.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in dress and conduct during all programmatic and work-related events and activities.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality in accordance with agency policies.
  • Demonstrate the willingness and ability to respond sensitively to the diverse service populations of the agency, including all persons with disabilities and/or mental health issues.
  • Promptly report all hazardous or unsafe building conditions to department supervisors, completing necessary documentation when requested.
  • Attend departmental/division team meetings as scheduled.
  • Attend individual supervision as scheduled to promote performance improvement and professional development.
  • Accept and perform additional duties as assigned by Site Operations Manager and/or division director.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the agency mission and all administrative policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

Requirements

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE

2 years’ work experience prefered 

High School or GED a plus
