PK Support Team Member

Reports To: PK Manager

  

JOB SUMMARY: The PK Support Team Member plays a hands-on role in the production kitchen (PK), supporting the packaging and shipment of Won't Stop Hospitality products. This position is responsible for assembling boxes, accurately packing and labeling items, and helping ensure every shipment goes out correctly and on time. The PK Support Team Member works efficiently and carefully in a fast-paced production environment, contributing directly to product quality and guest satisfaction beyond the walls of our cafes.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assemble shipping boxes and packaging materials accurately and efficiently.

· Pack, weigh, and label items according to established standards and order specifications.

· Perform quality checks on packaged items to ensure accuracy and product integrity before shipment.

· Stage completed orders for pickup or shipment in an organized manner.

· Restock and organize packaging supplies, keeping the workstation stocked and ready for production.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production workspace at all times.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling guidelines as applicable to packaged product.

· Communicate proactively with the PK Manager regarding supply needs, order volume, or any issues affecting shipment timing.

· Work efficiently to meet daily packing and shipping deadlines.

· Approach all tasks with positivity, reliability, and attention to detail.

· Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

· Other duties as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES 

· No prior experience required; previous warehouse, production, packing, or kitchen experience preferred.

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.

· Strong attention to detail, particularly with labeling and order accuracy.

· Ability to work efficiently and stay on task in a fast-paced, repetitive-motion environment.

· Comfortable working independently as well as alongside a small team.

· Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

· Valid Food Handler's permit may be required based on state or local regulations.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Previous kitchen, hospitality, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary. Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moment’s notice.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a restaurant setting with public contact and frequent interruptions. 

Physical: Work is performed primarily in a kitchen and production environment with frequent activity and interruptions. This role requires standing for extended periods, frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and light lifting. Employees may be required to lift and carry up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
