Description
As a Quality Control Intern, you will support the Quality team in ensuring that products meet the required standards through inspections, testing activities, and quality data analysis. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in quality assurance processes, laboratory testing, and continuous improvement activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The role is based at our production site in Piombino (LI), Italy.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will support the Quality team in carrying out quality control activities, mechanical testing, and product inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and Technical teams while developing practical knowledge of quality systems, testing methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support quality control activities in line with established standards, procedures, and control plans.
- Assist in performing mechanical and functional tests on products using laboratory equipment.
- Support product inspections and compliance verification activities.
- Assist in the management and documentation of non-conforming products.
- Help collect, analyze, and report quality data and test results.
- Support corrective action initiatives by sharing testing outcomes and findings.
- Participate in the testing and validation of alternative raw materials.
- Assist in monitoring the calibration status of measuring instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process performance.
ABOUT YOU
- Technical Diploma or currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Industrial Technologies, or a related field.
- Interest in Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection methods and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of plastic materials is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as gauges, thickness gauges, and micrometers is considered an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent Italian and basic English skills.

We offer a 6-month internship with a progressive reimbursement package: €700/month for the first 3 months and €900/month for the remaining 3 months; together with a comprehensive benefits and development package including:
