Description
The researcher is an employee of Animal Nutrition R&D and is either hierarchically located in the Swine, Poultry, Ruminant or Ingredients Research Teams. The researcher reports to the Manager Research and leads R&D tasks (studies) in innovation projects. The project team of an innovation project is often a multidisciplinary team with a business leader to whom the project reporting has to be done.
Job Description:
Idea generation, networking:
· Generate new ideas for innovation, support idea evaluation.
· Create a functional in-/external scientific network to source ideas and to support R&D studies
R&D studies:
· Design, supervise and report R&D studies in innovation projects.
· Comply with the animal ethics guidelines and rules.
· Act in a role of study director, responsible scientist or principal investigator and held responsibilities assigned to those functions (more information can be find
in the SOP ‘Roles and Responsibilities within study team’)
R&D project management:
· Manage the assigned R&D tasks in innovation projects and keep track on budget and planning.
· R&D accountability in just-do and/or stage-gate projects
Business support:
· Support training, knowledge and technology transfer role by the Global Marketing Organisation.
· Support implementation of innovations by the Global Marketing Organisation.
· Support (key) account meetings and seminars organized by the Global Marketing Organisation.
Presentation, communication:
· Represent Nutreco at science meetings.
· Profile Nutreco R&D and Nutreco’s innovative image.
