Description
As the Digital Trading Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering Sky’s Digital growth ambitions by owning the end-to-end digital performance story, using data, insight and commercial judgement to identify, prioritise and deliver opportunities across acquisition and existing customer journeys.
You will be accountable for translating performance data into clear, actionable insight, driving trading decisions that maximise digital share, ARPU and net customer growth.
What you’ll do:
Own and deliver the Digital sales plan, taking full accountability for performance against targets and proactively identifying risks and opportunities
Make informed trading decisions at pace, balancing data, customer impact and commercial priorities to optimise performance
Lead and own the digital performance narrative, clearly articulating the “what, why and so what”, ensuring insight drives action and influences senior stakeholders
Continuously monitor performance, identifying, sizing and prioritising opportunities to improve conversion, demand and customer value
Define and execute optimisation plans, ensuring measurable commercial impact
Develop and evolve a Digital trading playbook, building a clear understanding of key levers and expected outcomes
Collaborate across Digital Marketing, eCommerce and value streams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer journey
Lead transformation initiatives to improve the digital customer proposition and trading effectiveness
Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, confidently influencing at senior levels
What you’ll bring:
Essential Criteria:
A highly analytical and commercially minded individual with a strong track record of using data and insight to drive business performance and inform decision-making
Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that drive understanding and action at all levels of the business
Proven ability to move from analysis to action, delivering measurable impact at pace
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership
Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with high levels of accountability
Experience in Adobe Analytics, Tableau or similar applications alongside strong MS Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint required
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in digital/eCommerce environments is advantageous, but not essential

How you’ll work
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
