Role Description:
Acts as the design authority for an engineering discipline, handling low to medium complexity substation projects, primarily brownfield assignments. site execution and ensures seamless integration of new installations with existing infrastructure.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensures strict adherence to safety protocols, implementing measures to prevent hazards and maintaining a secure working environment.
- Manages reconciliation of materials, tracking inventory usage and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Oversees storage and handling of materials, ensuring proper conditions and organization to prevent damage and delays.
- Supervises erection of 220/132/66 KV, Tower beam structures, Equipment structure, Electrical Panels, Power Transformers Etc. Ensuring precision in alignment, stability, and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Knowledge of Civil construction / Foundations / Control room Building etc.
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures to site activities, ensuring efficient execution within budget and contract specifications.
- Provides technical support for installation, commissioning, and testing of systems and equipment at the project site.

Your background:
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Erection, Testing commissioning of switchyard.
- Review of Primary equipment’s & Drawings (Trafo, CB, Isolator, IT, WT etc.), Secondary equipments (Control & Protection Panel Schematic, MV Switchgears, LT DBs, Battery, Battery Charger, JBs etc.).
- Software skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
