Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Credential Validation in Studio City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional in an educational setting, you will manage visitor access and badges, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and provide welcoming customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a positive campus environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain appropriate access records in accordance with school procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at assigned entrances, challenging unknown individuals appropriately, and reporting suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned school areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
