This is a remote position open to Missouri Residents only.
As a Discharge Technician, you’ll play an important role behind the scenes, supporting accurate and timely electronic health record (EHR) closure, data quality, reporting, and process improvement. You’ll work across departments to help ensure information flows smoothly during client transitions and discharges while supporting the organization’s commitment to quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and close accounts/charts in the electronic health record.
- Support smooth communication and information sharing across departments during transitions and discharges.
- Review data and identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
- Track incomplete documentation and communicate through the appropriate chain of command.
- Create and maintain reports using Excel and/or Power BI.
- Perform data entry, data review, and data scrubbing to support data quality and accuracy.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School/GED required
- Associate’s degree in computer applications or related field preferred
- At least two (2) years Excel experience required if high school/GED is the highest degree obtained
- Knowledge of electronic health records preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite and strong understanding of relational databases preferred
