As a Deals Capital Markets - Senior Associate, you will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational business events that may impact an organization's value. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward isn’t clear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will be part of our Deals practice, focusing on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. You will help clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals. This position offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems.

Responsibilities

- Providing strategic guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and other business transformations
- Advising clients on complex accounting advisory matters and capital markets topics to maximize value in transactions
- Navigating complex transactions and delivering insights on financial structuring and reporting
- Collaborating with clients to develop solutions for capital market engagements and financial modeling
- Utilizing analytical thinking and technical accounting skills to address client needs and challenges
- Developing and maintaining client relationships to support strategic advice and transaction structures
- Coordinating project management efforts to validate timely delivery of client solutions
- Applying knowledge of GAAP and IFRS to advise on financial reporting and regulatory guidelines
- Engaging in market analysis to inform recommendations and support client decision-making
- Mentoring junior team members to enhance their understanding of business context and technical skills
- Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
- Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3+ years of experience
- Current pursuit of or a Certified Public Accountant License
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Coursework and/or a concentration in valuation methods, Other fields of study that provide a solid foundation for understanding how manufacturing and production facilities create products may be considered
