Job Description:

Join Winchester Hospital as a Nursing Assistant and become an essential member of our patient care team. In this rewarding role, you will support registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients across a variety of clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information.
• Support patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Maintain patient rooms and clinical areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate concerns to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection prevention practices.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred

• Nursing Assistant, CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, or direct patient care experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay Range:

$19.50 - $26.24

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
