Claims Operations Manager

Job Description:

Lead a large, complex claims operation supporting the Victorian WorkCover Scheme. As a senior leader within DXC Claims Management Services, you'll drive consistent, high-quality claims management, return-to-work, customer and compliance outcomes.

You'll lead teams across claims management, Eligibility, Mobile Case Management, Mental Injury, Impairment Benefits, Legal, Entitlements, Business Performance and Early Intervention.

What you'll do

• Provide senior operational leadership across the operation, turning strategy into measurable outcomes
• Drive an outcome-focused culture centred on safe, sustainable return to work and early intervention
• Meet DXC's obligations as a Victorian WorkCover agent, performing against contractual and scheme requirements
• Lead, coach and develop the claims leadership team and strengthen succession planning
• Maintain strong governance over claims quality, compliance and operational risk
• Build strong relationships with injured workers, employers and scheme stakeholders, including WorkSafe Victoria
• Lead operational improvement and transformation, leveraging technology and data

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience within the Victorian Workers Compensation Scheme
• Significant senior operational leadership in workers compensation, personal injury, insurance or a similarly regulated environment
• Proven experience leading large, complex teams through multiple leadership layers
• Strong claims management, performance management and stakeholder influencing skills
• Strong analytical, governance, risk and commercial judgement
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading significant organisational change
