Plumber

About the Role

In this position, you will work on new construction, renovation, and service calls, handling everything from rough-in piping to final fixture installation. The ideal Plumber brings a strong understanding of local codes, a methodical troubleshooting approach, and the hands-on skills to deliver lasting results. You will collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep work moving on schedule while meeting quality and inspection standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and connect water supply lines, drainage systems, vents, and gas piping according to blueprints and specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, isometrics, and scope documents to plan layouts and material needs.
• Set and connect fixtures, water heaters, pumps, backflow preventers, and related equipment.
• Diagnose leaks, blockages, and system failures, then repair or replace components efficiently.
• Test completed systems for pressure, flow, and code compliance before inspection.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the job site in clean, safe working condition.
• Communicate progress, material requests, and potential delays promptly to the project lead promptly.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols on every assignment.

Qualifications

A successful Plumber combines technical knowledge with a professional, customer-ready attitude. We are looking for candidates who meet the following standards:

• Verifiable experience in commercial and/or residential plumbing, with a solid record of completed work.
• Working knowledge of Louisiana plumbing codes and standard inspection requirements.
• Proficiency with copper, PEX, PVC, cast iron, and CPVC piping materials and joining methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate them into accurate field installations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across the region.
• Appropriate state licensure or the ability to work under a licensed master, depending on scope.
• Physical capacity to lift materials, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
