Holman has a great opportunity for a part time Paint Prepper to join our team in Bartlett, IL. Need flexibility? This position may be a great fit for you.

 

• Shift: Make your own schedule between the hours of 6:00 am - 2:30PM Monday - Friday
• Shifts will be posted in 4 hour increments up to 29/hrs
• Pay: $21/hr

 

What will you do?

• Inspect truck bodies and remove sand scratches or surface imperfections.
• Thoroughly clean parts & bodies using a power washer and automotive-grade soap.
• Apply phosphate solutions to promote proper paint adhesion.
• Apply seam sealer to unwelded areas to prevent rust.
• Prep parts for the paint department, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Operate tools and Industrial equipment safely and correctly, following company procedures.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous industrial prep experience
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to safely use electrical and power tools.
• Motivated, entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and tool experience are encouraged to apply.
• Commitment to following company standards, including procedures, quality expectations, attendance, and performance.
• Must pass a physical, drug test, and background check prior to employment

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $20.00 - $24.74 USD per hour.
