Service Desk Technician

Salal Credit Union is hiring an IT Service Desk Technician to deliver exceptional technology support to employees across our organization. In this role, you'll play a key role in resolving technical challenges, deploying and supporting workplace technology, and ensuring our teams have the tools they need to succeed every day.

This is a hybrid position based at our Northgate headquarters. Team members work onsite each Wednesday and participate in a rotating onsite schedule, including one full week onsite every three weeks. A rotating Saturday shift is also required approximately once every three weeks.

Occasional travel to our various branches in the Seattle metro area is also required so access to a reliable vehicle to conduct these service calls is necessary.

What you'll do:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees, helping resolve a wide variety of technology issues and ensuring a positive support experience.
• Set up, deploy, and maintain laptops, mobile devices, and other technology that keeps our workforce connected and productive.
• Manage user accounts and system access throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Support workplace technologies including IP phones, conference room technology, and business applications.
• Contribute to IT projects, process improvements, and documentation that strengthen our technology environment.
• Partner with teammates to respond to incidents, maintain compliance standards, and support critical business systems.
• Share expertise with coworkers and end users to help build technical knowledge across the organization.

What you'll bring:

• 1+ year of hardware and system support experience is preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Access to a reliable, insured personal vehicle and a valid driver's license for occasional hardware delivery and on-site troubleshooting at area branches.
• Clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Success working in a fast-paced environment while navigating rapid changes.
• Strong communication skills and advanced customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze information and problem solve through troubleshooting.

Nice to have:

• CompTIA A+ certification completed within first year of employment.

What we offer:

• Most candidates can expect a starting offer between $29.68-$35.61 per hour based on experience. The full base salary range for this role is $29.68-$41.55 per hour.
