Summary
Manages the pickup and delivery of various items including medical and nonmedical supplies, mail, medical records, x-rays, and related paperwork between Pocono Medical Center. Loads, unloads, prepares, and inspects delivery vehicle to optimize deliveries.

Job Duties

• Oversees emergencies during non-business hours, alternating schedules.
• Maintains vehicles by following departmental policies for service, gas, and washing in accordance with vehicle warrantee specifications.
• Collects pickups and deliveries of laboratory specimens, x-rays, and related paperwork between the Medical Center, physicians' offices, Cancer Center, and other off campus locations.
• Collects pickups of financial documents, mail, and records between the Finance Department and Medical Center.
• Collects and delivers mail and other supplies between the United States Post Office, Medical Center, and off campus locations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Cross-trained with Shuttle Drivers and Valet Attendants.
• DL - Driver's License_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
